5.2 Operating the robot vacuum cleaner
Safety instructions before vacuuming.
To avoid damaging the floor, remove pointed or sharp objects that could get under the robot and scratch the
floor surface.
The robot vacuum cleaner is designed to pick up small amounts of dust and does not replace a hand-held
vacuum cleaner.
The robot vacuum cleaner is designed to clean hard floors and low-pile carpets. It is not recommended for
deep pile carpets.
Dark carpets or objects can trigger the robotic sensors, preventing the robot from moving on or around them.
Note that, due to the design, the robot detects obstacles by laser starting from a height of about 8 cm.
Obstacles below this height are detected by the bumper. For small and light objects, we recommend drawing
a no-go area in the app.
Mirrors, glass panes and high-gloss surfaces affect the robot's sensors in such a way that they might not be
recognized as obstacles. Again, we recommend designating a no-go area.
