  PLAYING A CD

SELECTING CD OPERATION

Move the 

• 

FUNCTION

 selector on the left side to select 

the CD/MP3/USB/SD position.

The display on the front panel will light.

LOADING/REMOVING A DISC
Before loading a disc for the first time:

Lift the CD door to open the CD loading bay and remove 

• 

any transit packing that may be fitted to protect the CD 
player in shipping.

Loading a CD:

Remove any USB or SD card media that is inserted.

• 

Lift the CD door to open the CD loading bay. 

• 

Holding  the  disc  by  the  edges,  place  the  disc  on  the 

• 

turntable in the centre of the CD loading bay with the 
label uppermost. Press the centre of the disc into place 
on the turntable with a click.
Gently close the CD door.

• 

The unit will read the disc and briefly display the total number 
of tracks on the disc before commencing play automatically

Removing a disc:

Ensure that the disc is stopped. 

• 

Lift the CD door to open the CD loading bay.

• 

Holding  the  disc  by  the  edges,  lift  the  disc  off  the 

• 

turntable and place it back in the case.
Gently close the CD door.

• 

PLAYBACK CONTROL
Play/pause:

Press the 

• 

PLAY/PAUSE

 button to toggle between play 

and pause mode during playback.

Stopping playback:

Press the 

• 

STOP

 button during playback.

Playback  will  stop.  The  total  number  of  tracks  will  be 
displayed.

Selecting tracks:

Press the 

• 

SKIP+

 or 

SKIP-

 button 

briefly

 to select the 

next or previous track. Pressing 

SKIP-

 while playing a 

track will replay the current track.

The track number being played will be displayed.

Fast search:

Press and 

• 

hold

 the 

SKIP+

 or 

SKIP-

 button to fast search 

forward or backward through a track.

The track will search at high speed.

Repeat/random play:

During playback, press the 

• 

MODE

 button repeatedly to 

cycle through the available modes shown below -

The front panel display shows track and play mode status 
when playing CDs or MP3/WMA music files from a disc or 
from flash media. 

The mode selected will be shown on the display.

Selecting ‘Repeat 1’ will continuously repeat the current track. 
Selecting ‘Repeat All’ will continuously repeat the entire disc. 
Selecting ‘Random’ will play all tracks in a random sequence.
