Information about temperature sensor installation
x
Minimum distance from temperature sensor cable to other installations or cable chan-
nels
at least 250 mm!
x
Ø 5.2 mm Pt500 sensor set (coupled sensors) with 1.5 m silicone cable
x
Install the temperature sensors symmetrically and handle them carefully.
x
One temperature sensor is installed in the volume measuring section on delivery.
x
Install the other sensor (with the green plastic ring) as a directly immersed sensor. Alter-
natively, depending on the national regulations, both sensors must be installed in immer-
sion pockets. The sensor installed in the volume measuring section must be installed as
close as possible (max. 12 cm) to the volume measuring section outlet instead.
x
For the meter outlet variant, install in the inlet and for the inlet variant in the outlet
!
The cables may neither be shortened nor extended.
Directly immersed installation
Î
2
1
Unscrew the screw plug from the special ball valve.
2
Place the enclosed O-ring on the assembly pin. Only use one O-Ring.
When replacing sensors, replace the old O-ring with a new one.
3
Using the assembly pin, turn the O-Ring into the bore hole of the closing screw
with a rotating movement.
4
Place the O-ring in its final position using the other end of the assembly pin.
5
Place the temperature sensor with the plastic screw in the bore hole of the closing
screw and tighten it hand-tight. Do not use any tools for this!
Final tasks
1
Apply seals to the screw connections and both temperature sensors.
!
In addition, the ex-works installed temperature sensor must be sealed.
