Prerequisites:
• Meter with radio module: Distance from power supply lines ≥ 300 mm.
• Shut-off devices for later meter swap.
• Switch off devices connected on the supply network in order to avoid damages from
overpressure or overtemperature.
Installing the measuring capsule

Distance from power supply lines ≥ 300mm.
1 Rinse the pipelines thoroughly.
2 Close the shut-off device before the connector.

Take precautions to ensure no devices connected to the pipeline are damaged (e.g.
disconnect boilers, remove fuses)
4 Empty the conduits.
5 Remove rosette / protective sleeve and sealing.
6 Rotate the measuring capsule with the dismantling spanner or impact screwdriver
attachment anticlockwise out of the connector.
7 Remove the old L-profile seal.
8 Clean the connector's sealing surfaces and the measuring capsule's O-ring and check
them for damages.
9 Apply tap grease to the measuring capsule's screw thread and small O-ring as well as
the L-profile seals.
10 Insert the new L-profile seal into the connector - its flat surface must face
upwards there.
11 Screw the measuring capsule into the connector and tighten it sturdily until the metal
bearing surfaces have contact.

Slowly bleed the conduit with opened tap connections.
13 Switch on the boiler or the fuses again.
