4.1.1.
Pressure tank
The pressure tank of the MasterDrainer 80 Kombi is subject to the Pressure
Equipment Directive 97/23/EC. It is classified in Category I according to the
conformity assessment procedure and designed, manufactured and tested in
accordance with Module A. This is certified by the Declaration of Conformity.
The equipment may be operated only with an undamaged tank.
The tank must be inspected regularly for corrosion and damage.
The suction/drainage hose is as pressurising component also to be inspected regularly
for damage and free passage.
4.1.2.
Safety valve
The equipment may be operated only with a correctly functioning and correctly
adjusted safety valve.
The functional capability of the safety valve is to be examined at least once a year.
For this, charge the tank with compressed air; the safety valve must open with 1.2
±0.1
bar.
In particular the compact valve is to be cleaned after a filling.
If the lead seal is damaged or removed a pressure test and renewed sealing by the
Horn Customer Service is to be arranged without delay.
4.1.3.
Ejector with silencer
Unacceptably high pressures can occur in the tank with blockage of the ejector jet or
of the silencer. Decreasing suction output due to low a vacuum in the tank can be a
sign of contamination of the ejector and of the silencer.
Therefore these components are to be cleaned regularly and, if necessary, exchanged.
4.2.
Cleaning
Depending on usage, the oil disposer is to be cleaned at least once a year. For this fill
the collecting pan with several litres of diesel fuel and/or carry out a suction
procedure using diesel. After this empty the equipment as described in the Chapter
"Operation". With heavy contamination repeat the process.
