YOUR TRICYCLE (CONT)
Know how to work all tricycle controls.
For riding in low light and night conditions, fit
your tricycle with appropriate front and rear
lamps.
WARNING: Check reflectors and mounting
brackets regularly to make sure that they
are clean, straight, unbroken and securely
mounted. Equip your tricycle with lights:
white front and red rear. Riding in low light
or at night time without reflectors and lights
is extremely dangerous.
YOUR CLOTHING
Wear a correctly fitted and fastened
Approved helmet.
Be seen:
wear brightly coloured clothes - yellow, green
and orange are best for day, reflective tape
improves the conspicuity of riders at night.
Wear shoes, not thongs or ride with
bare feet.
