IMPORTANT INFORMATION
This appliance is not intended for professional use. You should follow the requested breaks.
Failure to follow this instruction carefully may result in damage to the motor. Please refer to the

usage time is). The breaks should last at least 10 minutes.
PREPARATION OF POPCORN
•
Never add butter, oil or sugar to the corn in the heat chamber. Only use corn especially
made for popping.
•
Make sure the appliance is unplugged and switched off.
•
Measure popping corn using the corn measuring cup situated on top of the transparent
chute. One full measuring cup per popping session is enough. More than one full
measuring cup could overfill the appliance and disturb the right functioning of the
appliance.
•
Pour popping corn into the heat chamber through the filling inlet of the chute. Do not add
any other ingredient.
•
Put the measuring cup on top of the chute.
•
Place a large heat-resistant bowl under the spout so that the edge of the bowl is touching
the body of the machine. It is important that the popcorn being ejected down the chute
into the bowl is not re-directed, blocked or otherwise interfered with, since the popcorn is
hot and premature contact may cause minor discomfort.
•
Plug in and switch on the appliance. After a few moments the continuous popping action
will automatically feed corn into heat chamber until all has been popped. This process will
last about 3 minutes.
•
Turn off the appliance and unplug it when popping has stopped.
•
If you want to pop a second portion, first remove the corns remaining in the heat
chamber. Pay attention not to get burned when handling the chute as this part as well as
the measuring cup become very hot when the appliance is functioning. Therefore we
advise you to wait about 10 to 12 minutes before popping a second portion.
Hints
Popcorn is usually very dry which makes it hard to sweeten. However, if desired, you can fill the
measuring cup with butter or margarine and place it on top of the popping chute, butter side
up, before switching on the appliance. The heat generated to pop the corn will also melt the
butter for adding to your popcorn in the bowl beside the popcorn maker (never put the butter
into the heat chamber). Thanks to the butter, the sugar you will add will stick to the popcorn.
Clean the measuring cup after use.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
•
Make sure the appliance has totally cooled down before cleaning.
•
Clean the plastic parts of the base and the heat chamber with a slightly damp cloth.
Never use abrasive products as they could damage the appliance.
•
The chute and the measuring cup can be cleaned in soapsuds and then rinsed with clear
water.
