KEBBE RECIPE
Kebbe (kibbeh) is a traditional Middle Eastern dish - meatballs or rather bulgur rolls stuffed
with properly seasoned lamb, deep-fried.
Stuffing ingredients
•
100g lamb meat
•
1 ½ tbsp olive oil
•
½ onion (finely cut)
•
Spices to taste
•
1 ½ tablespoons flour
Outlet cover ingredients
•
450g lean meat
•
150-200g flour
•
½ tsp Nutmeg powder
•
Spices to taste
•
Red pepper to taste
Preparation
•
Mince lamb meat once or twice.
•
Fry the onion until brown.
•
Mix the minced lamb meat together with the other stuffing ingredients.
•
Mince the lean meat three times.
•
Mix all the outlet cover ingredients together in a bowl.
•
Grind the outlet cover mixture again three times.
•
Remove the cutting plate and cutting blade and install the kebbe attachments.
•
From the kebbe outlet cover through the grinder.
•
Fil in the kebbe outlet cover with the lamb and oinion mixture.
•
Close the kebbe by pressing the openings into tip-shaped spikes.
•
Deep fry until the kebbe are golden brown.
