FIELD OF APPLICATION/OF OPERATION
• Use the appliance for domestic purposes only and in the way indicated in these
instructions.
• This appliance is intended to be used for domestic applications and similar
applications such as :
o
Kitchen corners reserved for personnel in shops, offices and other professional
environments.
o
Farms.
o
Hotels, motels, B&B ’ s and other environments with a residential character.
BEFORE THE FIRST OPERATION
For the perfect taste, operate the jug kettle with fresh water in order to clean any residue
left from the manufacturing process. When the appliance has cooled down, repeat the
process 3 times with fresh water, before rinsing.
OPERATION
•
Always remove the jug from the power base before filling it or before any operation.
•
Open the lid and fill the jug with fresh water, paying attention not to fill under the
minimum mark and above the maximum mark on the water level indicator.
•
Close the lid by pressing it down until you hear a click. Make sure it closes correctly.
•
Put the jug onto the power base, plug into the wall socket and switch on by pressing
the ON/OFF button. If it does not come on, check if the kettle is correctly positioned on
the base and check if the base is plugged in.
•
After pressing the ON/OFF button, "100" will appear. You can choose the temperature
that you need by pressing the
“+” or ” - “ button , in 5° steps from 40 to 95°C.
•
DO NOT open the lid while the water is boiling. During the water boiling process you
can choose the temperature with the decrease or increase button.
•
When the water reaches the desired temperature, the LED display indicates the
current temperature.
•
The jug kettle will switch off automatically when the water is boiling but you can stop
the appliance any time by putting the switch in the off-position.
•
For instant reboiling, wait until the water has cooled down and switch on the
appliance again.
•
If you want to switch on the keep warm function , press the ON/OFF switch and keep it
pressed for 3 seconds. A beep will sound and the display will flash.
You can choose a temperature between 40°C and 95°C in 5° steps by pressing the
“+” or ” - “ button and press the ON/OFF switch again.
The display keeps showing the actual water temperature and when the water
temperature drops under the set temperature, the appliance begins to re-heat it.
This programme keeps working for 2 hours then stops automatically.
