Loading a disc
1. Press the POWER button to ON.
The tray turns clockwise automatically.
2. Press the OPEN/CLOSE (

) button to
open the disc tray.
3. Load the disc(s) on the disc tray(s),
label side(s) up.
4. Press the DISC SKIP button to load all
5 discs.
O
Each time the DISC SKIP button is
pressed, the tray turns clockwise to the
next tray position.
5. Press the OPEN/CLOSE (

) button
again.
Caution:
O
Do not touch the carousel while it is
rotating.
O
Do not put anything except a compact
disc into the tray. Foreign objects can
damage the mechanism.

Playing a disc
6. Press the DISC NO.(1~5) button which
corresponds to the tray number of the
disc to be played.
O
When only a disc number has been
selected, play will start on track 1 of the
selected disc.

button to select a
track number.
O
If only a track number is selected when
in STOP mode, play will start with the
selected track of the displayed disc
number.
O
If a track number is selected which is
higher than the highest track number on
the disc, play will start with the last
track on the disc.
8. Press the PLAY (

and EACH indicators light.
O
The track’s elapsed playing time is
displayed, and the indicator showing the
track number blinks.
O
When tracks have been played, their
numbers will disappear from the Music
Calendar display.
O
If the total track number exceeds 20, the
track number should be confirmed on
the TRACK display
Example:
Track 4 on disc number 2 has been playing
for 2 minutes 35 seconds.

Playback stops at the current position

playback from the same position, press

Notes:

This unit will stop when the last track on
disc number 5 has finished playing.
The tray number and disc mark of a
completed disc remains lit.
O
When a tray is empty and the CD
changer tries to play it, the disc number
disappears. When a disc is loaded but
is not played, the disc number remains
lit.

To unload the disc
16. Press the OPEN/CLOSE (

) button.

When the tray opens, the tray numbers
of the two trays on your side appear
and the disc marks go out.
O
Every time the DISC SKIP button is
pressed to move the disc tray, the next
disc number appears and the disc mark
goes out.

9. Press the DISC SKIP button to select the
next disc.
O
During PLAY mode, select the disc and
track numbers, then within 10 seconds
press the PLAY (

) button. Play will
start with the selected track.
10. Press the TIME button to check the
playing time.
Press the TIME button once, twice, or
three times to display the following
information.

Press the TIME button once during
playback to display the remaining time
of the track being played (EACH
REMAIN lights).

Press the TIME button twice to display
the total disc playback time and the total
number of tracks on the disc (TOTAL
lights).

Displayed when the TIME button is
pressed three times. The time displayed
is the total remaining playback time from
the position being played, to the end of
the current disc (TOTAL REMAIN lights).

Press the TIME button again to view the
current track’s elapsed playing time
(EACH lights).

13. Press and hold down either SEARCH

button to quickly search a
disc in the forward or reverse direction.

This unit features 2-speed search. The
search speed will increase after the
button is held down for approximately
three seconds.

Search is possible during PAUSE mode,
but no sound is heard.
O
The CD changer will not search beyond
the beginning or the end of a disc.
Disc numbers and disc marks
1. When a disc number lights
The CD changer does not yet detect a
disc.
2. When a disc number and disc mark
lights
The CD changer has detected a disc
in the tray.
3. When a disc number and disc mark
go out
The CD changer detects no disc in
the tray.
