Watching Digital TV

Switching to DTV Mode

If your TV is not already broadcasting TV channels, you may need to switch inputs to DTV. 

1.Press the 

INPUT

 button 

2.Press the ▲/▼ buttons to highlight DTV (at the top of the lis

t)

3.Press

OK

 to confirm

Program info 

For details about the current program playing on the TV, press the 

INFO

 button.

When the description is too long to fit in one page, turn to th

e next page with the ► button. 

The description may take a few seconds to load. 

You can also view the description for the next program by press

ing the ▼ button.

Changing channels

You can change channels with the 

CH

/

▼buttons. 

To see the complete list of channels, press the 

OK

 button. 

To choose a channel from this list, press ▲/▼ and then press 

OK

 to confirm. 

You can also change channels while viewing the EPG (detailed be

low in "Using the EPG")

If you have a Favourite channels list set up, you can press the 

FAV

 button to bring up the list. 

Then select the desired channel, and press 

OK

 to go to that channel. 

Using the Electronic Program Guide (EPG) 

The Electronic Program Guide (EPG) provides the program schedul

e for Digital TV up to 7 days 

in advance. 

To view the EPG, press the 

EPG

 button on the remote control. The list that appears is the 

schedule for the current channel that is broadcasting on the TV

. (For details on setting up 

Favourite channels, read the "Channel Management – Channel Edit" section.) 

To scroll through the list of programs for the day, press ▲/▼. 

This list ends at 11.59PM on 

that day. 

To see the schedule for other days, press ▼ only 1 time to highlight the date, then press ◄/► 

to choose the desired date. Then, press ▼ to scroll through the

 list of programs for that day.

To see the schedule for other channels, press the 

EPG

 button, the press ◄/►  to find the 

desired channel. Alternatively, go to your desired channel before pressing the 

EPG

 button. 

You can schedule recordings or reminders via the EPG also. For more details, please see the 

"Recording with PVR" section.
