Playback
4 Press the OPEN/CLOSE button.
The disc tray will close. Be careful not to let a finger or any item
get caught in it.
Disc-loading may take some time depending on the amount of
o
information on the disc being loaded.
When the disc is loaded, the type of disc, the number of tracks
it contains and the total time of those tracks will appear on the
display (see p.13).
5 Press the PLAY button.
Playback will start.
During playback, the PLAY indicator will light blue.

1 Turn the power on.
The ring around the POWER button lights blue.
2 Press the tray OPEN/CLOSE button.
The disc tray opens forward.
3 Place a disc on the center of the tray with its
labeled-side up.
If you close the tray when the disc is not within the central
o
guides, the disc could become stuck inside and you might not be
able to reopen the tray. For this reason, you should always place
the disc carefully within the central guides.
