Do not plug the power cord of any component into AC outlets and do not turn their POWER
switches on until all connections have been performed.

Connect the FM feeder antenna
to the FM antenna terminal.
Secure it in the location
providing optimum reception.
In an area where FM signals are
weak, 75-ohm unbalanced-type
outdoor FM antenna(3 elements
or more) is recommended.
VCR, MD deck, etc.
When all connections are completed, put the plug in an
AC outlet. "*INITIAL" blinks on the display and the CD
drawer becomes active. Then the demonstration starts.
To stop the demonstration, press the BBS[DEMO]
button. The demonstration stops and the time is
displayed (standby mode). To set the clock, please see
"Setting the Clock".
If the POWER switch is pressed during the
demonstration, the unit is turned on with the source
selected last time. The demonstration starts again
when the POWER switch is pressed to turn the unit off.
To stop the demonstration and enter standby mode,
press the BBS[DEMO] button.
When the POWER switch is pressed in the standby
mode, "HELLO" appears on the display and the unit is
turned on with the source selected last time.
If you press the TAPE, AUX, TUNER or CD button in the
standby mode, the unit is turned on with the selected
source.
AM Loop Antenna
To stand the antenna on a surface, fix the claw to the
slot. After standing it, position it to find the best
direction and position for radio reception.
