11) Operation of Automatic battery CV mode using external signal connector CN
This section describes how to start and stop EZA in Automatic battery CV mode using the
external signal connector CN.
Prepare the battery, inverter, personal computer, etc. and connect them to EZA
referring to page 4 of this manual, Quick Manual Basic, Practical I.
When using the external signal connector CN, it is necessary to set the EZA
operation mode with the DIP switch in advance.
In Automatic battery CV mode using CN, set the address on RS-485 to “0” and the
communication speed to 19.2kbps.
Set the terminal voltage on both the grid side and the battery side of the
EZA to 0 V. As shown in the photo below, set only DIP switch 2 and
3(Second and Third from left) of the DIP switch on the back to ON(Lower).
Set the rotary switch on the front panel as shown in the photo below.

Set the DIP switch to operate with Automatic battery CV mode
via external signal connector CN.

Connect peripheral devices such as battery to EZA.
