The LCD monito r features an PreVu
TM
On-Screen Display
(OSD) menu with easily id entifiab le ico ns designed to
make ad justing your monitor display settings a more user-
friendly process. When highlighted, the ico n illustrates
the control function and b rief instructio n to assist the user
in identifying which co ntrol needs adjustment.
The OSD menu is activated by p ressing the Co ntro l Dial
inward and you can select and adjust the function of yo ur
cho ice by rotating and clicking the Control Dial. T he main
menu d isplays a list of sub menu ico ns and the current
video input mode. Rotate the dial to move the highlights
to the co ntrol yo u would like to ad just, then p ress the
Control Dial inward to select that control o r to activate that
functio n. Depend ing o n the co ntro l yo u selected, a
submenu o f the control with a status bar will app ear. T he
status b ar ind icates in which d irection, from the facto ry
p reset, yo ur adjustments are b eing mad e. Rotate the
Co ntrol Dial to ad just the contro l.
When you have finished making the ad justments, the
setting is saved auto matically b y exiting the co ntro l
function. If you d o no t to uch the contro l d ial for 20
seco nd s, the OSD is auto matically exited saving your
current settings.
Menu Descriptions
The LCD monitor is cap able o f accepting b oth digital and
analog signal inp uts and therefore has two d ifferent sets
of OSD co ntrol functions. Because the d igital signaling
always gives o ptimum d isp lay q uality witho ut much
ad justment, it requires much less OSD functions than the
anal o g inp ut mo d e. T ho se fu nctio ns that are no t
availab le in the digital input mod e are Auto Setup,Display,
Clo ck/phase, d eno ted b y astrick (*) in the fo llo wing
descriptions. If selected while in d igital input mode, you
will encounter a “Not Available” message.
