Changing the bottom thread
bobbin
Removing the bobbin
1. Turn the hand wheel towards the
front until the needle reaches the
highest position.
2. Pull the detachable sewing table to
the left.
3. Open the shuttle case cover (arrow).
4. Open the latch of the bobbin case
and pull the bobbin case out.
5. Release the latch. Now you can
remove the bobbin from its case.
Winding the bottom thread onto a
bobbin
Please note:
Always use identical material for
the top and bottom threads.
Remove remnants of thread from
the bobbin and rewind it with the
new thread before starting to sew.
1. Place the reel with the desired
thread on the reel spindle.
2. Replace the reel cover.
3. Place an empty bobbin on the
winder.
4. Lead the thread from the reel
around the thread guide for winding
bobbins to the empty bobbin.
5. Wind the thread clockwise around
the empty bottom thread bobbin
several times by hand.
6. Press the bobbin winder to the right
against the winder stop latch.
