General safety warnings

Please also read and follow the sepa-
rately enclosed instructions for use
according to norm specification 
DIN EN 60745-1.

Intended use

The impact wrench is designed to
loosen and tighten car screws, for
instance to mount a tyre. 
It is designed for tasks in private 
households and is not suitable for
commercial purposes

DANGER to children and people with
special needs

This appliance is not intended for
use by children and people with
reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities, or lack of expe-
rience and knowledge, to be able to
use this appliance safely. Children
must be supervised to ensure that
they do not play with the appliance.

Keep the packing material out of
children's reach. 
There is a danger of suffocation! 

DANGER due to electricity

Do not operate the tool if the
impact wrench or the connection
cord show visible signs of damage.

Only connect the appliance to a
correctly installed cigarette lighter
with 12 V mains voltage. 

Disconnect the plug from the ciga-
rette lighter before cleaning parts

of the tool or when a disturbance
occurs. 

Do not make any modifications to
the article. Only have repairs to the
tool or the connection cord carried
out by a specialist workshop or the
Service Centre. Improper repair
may result in considerable risk of
injury to the user.

Do not let the tool and cord con-
nection get wet. Never use the tool
in the rain! Water penetrating an
electrical device increases the risk
of electric shock.

DANGER of accident

Screws, nuts and bolts (especially
wheel nuts) that have to be
tightened to a specific torque,
should be tightened with a torque
wrench when the wheel has been
fitted in place. If you are in doubt
as to the correct torque stipulated
for your vehicle, consult your car
manufacturer. The nuts should be
tightend once more after you have
driven for a distance of approxima-
tely 50 km. 

WARNING - risk of fire and explosion

Do not use the tool in potentially
explosive environments containing
combustible liquids, gases or dusts.
Electrical tools generate sparks that
can ignite the dust or vapours. Do
not throw the tool into an open fire
or water. Failure to observe this warn-
ing can result in fire or explosion!

Care

Handle the tool and accessories with care and keep them clean - this will ensure
a long service life. 

Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the tool clean.

Grease and oil-based grime must be immediately wiped off the tool and acces-
sories with a slightly damp cloth.

• Do not use caustic, abrasive or solvent-based products for

cleaning.

• Disconnect the tool from the cigarette lighter or battery before

cleaning it.

• The mains adapter must not be exposed to moisture. It must also

be protected against splashes and dripping water. 

• Impact wrench does not start

• Wheel nut cannot be unscrewed or

tightened

• Is the car battery empty?
• Is the cigarette lighter faulty?
• Is the fuse in the plug faulty? See

section"Replacing the fuse".
