First-time use
Charging the rechargeable battery

Charge the player fully before using it for
the first time.
•
The battery must charge for two hours
before it reaches its full capacity.
•
The device may heat up during charging;
this is normal. While the device is charging,
do not restrict the flow of air to the device
or the mains adapter by covering it with
newspapers, blankets or similar items.
•
The rechargeable battery is charged by
means of the mains adapter or a computer.
The player cannot be operated while it is
charging. However, you can manage the
files on the player via the computer.
•
The ambient temperature when charging
should be b10°C and +40°C.
•
The device will provide approx. 8 hours of
music playback with a fully charged bat-
tery. Length of playback depends, among
other factors, on the volume selected and
the ambient temperature.
