The Controls
FX LEVEL
Controls the intensity of the chorus. The chorusing effect occurs when a pitch modulated signal – think
vibrato – is played adjacent to a clean signal. Therefore the max chorus intensity is achieved at a 50%
wet/dry mix. With Gravy, this is achieved by setting the FX level fully clock-wise.
SPEED
The SPEED knob sets the chorus speed – from slow smooth “Hi-Fi” to much more significant “Leslie”
types at high speed.
DEPTH
DEPTH sets the range of the modulation. Experiment with both the SPEED and DEPTH controls to get
the effect you are looking for.
TONE
By adjusting the tone you can set how warm you chorus should sound. When using high settings on
both speed and depth for that “leslie-type” sound you might want to emphasize the lower frequencies
over the higher ones. Try turning TONE counter clock wise.
CHORUS/TONEPRINT/VIBRATO SELECTOR
The selector switch allows you to select between the 3 different types of FX.
