Opening the Bimini Top

Opening the bimini top from the radar position:

1. 

Unzip and remove the boot from the bimini top. Store the 

boot on board the pontoon for later use.

2. 

Pull the front frame forward until the bimini top is 

fully opened.

3. 

Remove the quick-release ring pins from the 

adjustable front supports, then lower the supports into 

their H-brackets.

4. 

Align the adjustable front inner support tubes’ pivot 

holes with the H-bracket pivot holes, then reinsert the 

previously removed (step 3) quick-release ring pins.

Carefully lower the bimini top assembly down to rest on 

the rear pontoon fence railing 

(Fig.46A)

, then let the rear 

support tubes down to rest inside the H-brackets 

(Fig.46B)

Opening the bimini top from the fully collapsed position:

1. 

Remove the quick-release ring pins from the rear 

support tubes’ pivot holes.

2. 

With the boot still installed, grasp the rear support tubes 

and carefully raise the bimini top until the rear support 

tubes reach their H-brackets.

3. 

Align the rear support tubes’ pivot holes with the 

H-bracket pivot holes, then reinsert the previously removed 

(step 1) quick-release ring pins.

4. 

Unzip and remove the boot from the bimini top. Store the 

boot on board the pontoon for later use.

5. 

Pull the front frame forward until the bimini top is 

fully opened.

6. 

Remove the quick-release ring pins from the adjustable 

front supports, then lower the supports down into their 

H-brackets.

7. 

Align the adjustable front inner support tubes’ pivot holes 

with the H-bracket pivot holes, then reinsert the previously 

removed (step 6) quick-release ring pins.
