Assembly:
1. Insert the blade into the pin in the chopping
bowl and place the chopping bowl on the non-
slip mat.
2. Attach the sealing ring to the glass bowl lid.
3. Place the glass bowl lid and sealing ring onto the
chopping bowl.
4. Place the motor unit onto the bowl lid and con-
nect to the mains power supply.
5. Push down on the switch to use the chopper.
CAUTION
Please read the use instructions carefully and com-
pletely before using the appliance.
1. The blades are very sharp, handle with care.
2. Before plugging into a socket, check whether
the voltage of the power outlet corresponds to
the rating label of the appliance.
3. Always unplug the appliance before assembling,
disassembling, cleaning or storing.
4. Children should be supervised to ensure that
they do not play with the appliance.
5. Do not let the power unit, cord or plug get wet.
6. Do not immerse the motor housing or power
cord in water or any other liquid.
7. Never use a damaged appliance. If the appli-
ance has been damaged, please take it to an
approved service centre for repair.
8. Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of
a table or worktop or over hot surfaces.
9. Remove the blade attachment before emptying
the bowl.
10. Do not plug the appliance into the power sup-
ply until it is fully assembled and always unplug
before disassembling the appliance or handling
the blade attachment.
11. The appliance is constructed to process normal
household quantities. This appliance is intended
for household use only and not for professional
or industrial use.
12. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be re-
placed by the manufacturer or its service agent
or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid
a hazard.
13. Switch off the appliance before changing ac-
cessories or touching parts which move when
in use.
14. The appliance is not to be used by children or
persons with reduced physical, sensory or men-
tal capabilities, or lack of experience and knowl-
edge, unless they have been given supervision
or instruction by a person responsible for their
safety and are supervised by this person.
15. Never use accessories other than those sup-
plied with the appliance.
IMPORTANT
1. Do not run the food chopper continuously for
longer than 30 seconds. Leave to cool for 2
minutes in between each 30 second operation.
