2. Safety advice and warnings!
Read these instructions carefully before switching
on the appliance and keep them for future refer-
ence. Failure to follow and observe these instruc-
tions could lead to an accident. Clean all the arts
of the product that will be in contact with food, as
indicated in the cleaning section, before use.
2.1. Use or working environment:
2.1.1. This appliance can be used by children aged
from 8 years and above and persons with reduced
physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards
involved.
2.1.2. This appliance is not a toy. Children should be
supervised to ensure that they do not play with the
appliance.
2.1.3. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be
made by children unless they are supervised.
2.1.4. Do not use the appliance if it has fallen on the
floor, if there are visible signs of damage or if it has
a leak.
2.1.5. Avoid all contact with the liquid that could
be released from the battery. In case of contact
with eyes, wash them thoroughly and seek medical
advice. The liquid spilled from the battery may cause
irritation or burns.
2.1.6. Do not place the appliance on hot surfaces,
such as cooking plates, gas burners, ovens or
similar.
2.1.7. Place the appliance on a horizontal, hard,
rigid, flat, stable surface that is free from vibrations.
Avoiding any contact of the weighing area with walls
or other objects not to be weighed. Otherwise, it will
not show the right weight.
2.2. Use and care:
2.2.1. Do not overload the appliance’s weight
capacity.
2.2.2. Remove the batteries from the appliance if you
are not going to use it for some time.
2.2.3. This appliance is for household use only, not
professional, industrial use.
2.2.4. This appliance isn’t valid for trade. Store this
appliance out of reach of children and/or persons
with physical, sensory or reduced mental or lack of
experience and knowledge.
2.3. Service:
Any misuse or failure to follow the instructions for
use renders the guarantee and the manufacturer's
liability null and void.
3. Instructions for use
3.1. To install the bowl:
3.1.1. Ensure that the plate is in line with the eject
slider.
3.1.2. Press the stainless-steel bowl down until you
hear it click in place.
3.2. To enject the bowl:
3.2.1. Using your thumb, slide the eject slider back-
ward. Keeping it there.
3.2.2. Use your other hand to remove the stainless-
steel bowl from the plastic body.
3.3. To install or replace the
batteries (2 x 1.5V AAA
batteries INCLUDED):
3.3.1. Take out the used
batteries.
