3-7. USB2.0 SOFTWARE INSTALLATION UTILITY 

 

3-7-1. Installation of Utility for Windows 98SE/ 2000/XP/2003

 

 
Intel USB 2.0 Enhanced Host Controller driver can only be used on 
Windows XP on Intel Desktop boards. It should be installed right after 
the OS installation, kindly follow the following steps: 
 
1.

 

Please insert the Utility Disk into Floppy Disk Drive A/B or CD 
ROM drive. 

2.

 

Under Windows XP system, go to the directory where Utility Disc 
is located. 

3.

 

Start the “System” wizard in control panel. (Click 
Start/Settings/Control Panel). 

4.

 

Select “Hardware” and click “Device Manager ” button. 

5.

 

Double Click “USB Root Hub”. 

6.

 

Select “Driver”. 

7.

 

Click “Install” to install the driver. 

8.

 

Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation. 

9.

 

Click “Finish” after the driver installation is complete.
