Pulley nuts adjustment
NOTE • Check this adjustment whenever the set of belts is being replaced.
• Check the belts tension after the first working hour. Then, check them daily
every
8 working hours
.
During
50 - 70 hours
of use, it is necessary to check the tightening of the pulley
nuts in the following way:
• Uncouple the cardan shaft (A) from the gearbox (B);
• Loosen up the four bolts (C) that fasten the gearbox base;
• Loosen up the nuts (D) and axle;
• Remove the gearbox along with the pulley;
• Remove the self-locking nut (E), lock the pulley and tighten it properly. To do so, use
a
1.3/4"
wrench (
44.45 mm
) with socket;
• Also tighten the nuts from the axle pulley hubs (F), using a punch and hammer if
necessary;
• Assemble every component again but in the opposite order. Adjust the belts and
tighten every bolt and nut.
