Adjustments and operations
The press wheels in "V" shape firm the soil around the seed
and are able to work in several positions according to the soil type
and conditions of the straw.
1)
Make the correct adjustment of the floating range and
the downward pressure by the lever that allows to operate in four
positions and one neutral position.
2)
Adjust the angle between the press wheels (vertex) by the
bolt and slot.
3)
Make the unalignment between the press wheels by the bolts.
4)
Increase or decrease the lateral distance between the press
wheels through the spacer spools, passing the washers to the internal
part of the shaft.
While adjusting the press wheels it is important
to consider the soil type, seed type and depth of
planting to not affect the plants emergence.
