Quick Cooling
If your vehicle is parked under the sun,
you can cool it down fast by following the
steps given below:
Start the vehicle. 1.
Turn the A/C on and make sure the 2.
temperature control is set to the low -
est. In case of FATC set temperature
to ‘Low’ mode.
Slightly open the windows and direct 3.
the vents towards the face.
When the interior has cooled down to 4.
a comfortable level, close the win dows
and set the required temperature, with
recirculation ON.
NOTE
To control the battery temperature of
the high voltage battery the air condi-
tioner is used to cool down the battery
and may switch on automatically with-
out request from control panel. Which
may generate noise from operation of
the air conditioner compressor and
cooling fan.
Also air conditioner’s performance may
be degraded during summer due to op-
eration of the cooling system for the
high voltage battery.
CAUTION
It is important that the correct type •
and amount of oil and refrigerant
used, otherwise damage to the ve-
hicle and injury may occur. To pre-
vent damage, the air conditioning
system in your vehicle should only
be serviced by trained and certified
technician.
