MAINTENANCE AND CARE – Bulb Replacement
Tail Lamp Assembly
The bulbs in the tail lamp assemblies are accessed by removing the assembly
from the vehicle. The tail lamp assemblies house the following bulbs:
Stop/Brake Lamp - 12 volt, 21 Watt
Turn Indicator Lamp - 12 Volt, 21 Watt (amber)
Reverse Lamp - 12 Volt, 21 Watt
Position/Parking Lamp - 12 Volt, 5 Watt
Reflex Reflector (not illuminated)
Fog Lamp (as equipped) - 12 Volt, 21 Watt
Use the following procedure to replace the bulbs in the tail lamp assemblies:
Engage the parking brake and raise the trunk lid.
Using an appropriate wrench, remove the two M6 hex bolts from the
inner portion of the tail lamp assembly.
Pull the tail lamp assembly out, sideways, until the securing tabs
release.
Locate the defective bulb and release the bulb from the tail lamp assembly
by rotating the bulb until the locating tabs disengage and the bulb can be
pulled from the assembly.
Replace the bulb and re-install the tail lamp assembly into the vehicle.
High-Mount Brake Lamp
The high-mount brake lamp is a light emitting diode (LED) assembly and is
not serviceable. If the high-mount brake lamp fails, have an authorised service
outlet replace the lamp.
