9 - Other functions
Manual VAMP playback mode
When the VAMP playback function is activated, it can be turned
on manually during playback.
With the VAMP playback function activated, pressing the
F4
button while playing back will turn it on and start VAMP
playback.
After VAMP playback completes, it will not restart until the
function is turned on again.
1.
Load a song that has VAMP in/out points already set.
2.
When the recorder is stopped, select VAMP on the MENU
Screen, and open the VAMP Screen.
3.
Select VAMP PLAY on the VAMP Screen, and open the VAMP
Playback Screen.
4.
Press the
F3
button to switch the VAMP playback
mode to manual.
Confirm that the
icon appears on the VAMP
Playback Screen.

When the song playback position reaches VAMP-1, VAMP
playback will start.
VAMP playback of VAMP-1 will continue until the
F4
button is pressed again.

button to end VAMP playback at VAMP-1
and continue playing the song.
The VAMP playback function turns off (
), and VAMP
playback will not occur even if another VAMP in point is
reached.
Disabling the VAMP playback function
1.
When the recorder is stopped, select VAMP on the MENU
Screen, and open the VAMP Screen.
2.
Select the VAMP OFF item on the VAMP screen, and press
the MULTI JOG dial.
This disables the VAMP playback function and reopens the
Home Screen.
