9. Thermometer and hygrometer
• If the measured values are above the range, the temperature displays ”HH.H”, humidity displays ”HH%”.
• If the measured values are below the range, the temperature displays ”LL.L”, humidity displays ”LL%”.
9.1 Maximum/Minimum function
• Press the MAX/MIN button in Normal mode. MAX appears on the display.
• You can now get the highest values for the indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity since the last reset.
• Press the MAX/MIN button again. MIN appears on the display.
• You can now get the lowest values for the indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity since the last reset.
• Press the MAX/MIN button once more to return to the present values display.
• The device will automatically quit the MAX/MIN mode if no button is pressed.
• To clear the recorded readings, press and hold the MAX/MIN button for two seconds while the maximum or minimum values are
displayed.
9.2 Setting the temperature unit
• In Normal mode you can change between °C (Celsius) or °F (Fahrenheit) as the unit of temperature.
• Press the +/°C/°F button.
10. Positioning and fixing of the receiver and outdoor transmitter
• The receiver can be placed onto any flat surface, supported by the foldable leg at the back of the receiver, or wall-mounted using the
hanging hole at the back of the unit. Avoid installing it near any sources of interference like computer monitors, TV sets or solid metal
objects.
• The transmitter can be wall mounted using the hanging hole at the back of the transmitter. Choose a shady and dry position for the
outdoor transmitter. (Direct sunshine falsifies the measurements and continuous humidity puts unnecessary strain on the electronic
components).
• Check the transmission of the signal from the outdoor transmitter to the receiver (there is a transmission range of up to 60 m in an
unrestricted area). The received signal is naturally weakened within ferro-concrete rooms (basements, superstructures).
• If necessary, choose another position for the outdoor transmitter and/or receiver.
11. Care and maintenance
• Clean the devices with a soft damp cloth. Do not use solvents or scouring agents.
• If you do not intend to use the products for a long period of time, remove the batteries and disconnect the power adapter from the
socket.
• Keep the devices in a dry place.
11.1 Changing the batteries
• Change the batteries of the outdoor transmitter when the battery symbol appears on the display of the outdoor values.
• Change the batteries of the base station when the battery symbol appears on the display of the indoor values.
Please note: When the batteries are changed, contact between the outdoor transmitter and the receiver must be restored, so always
insert new batteries into both devices or start a manual transmitter search.
12. Troubleshooting
Problem
Solution
No indication at the receiver
Ensure that the batteries’ polarity is correct
Change the batteries
No RCC reception
Press and hold the -/RCC button for three seconds and start the
initialisation manually
Wait for attempted signal reception during the night
Choose another location for your product
