Protecting Your Notebook PC
We understand that the Notebook PC is a valuable investment and
how important the data stored in your system meant to you.
Therefore, we provide the following suggestions to protect your
system.
¦
Locking Your Computer
When you use the computer in the public area, you can secure your
computer on the immovable object (such as a desk) by connecting a
Kensington-compatible lock.
1.
Loop the cable around the immovable object.
2.
Plug the lock into the Kensington Lock hole of the computer
and lock it up with the key.
3.
Keep the key in a safe and personal location.
The Kensington lock is not included in your package; however, it is
available in the computer store. It can protect your computer
from being stolen.
