Advanced Menu

The Advanced menu contains IDE configuration, USB support and

CPU settings.

—

Primary and Secondary IDE Master

The two items display the types of the primary and secondary IDE

devices installed in the computer. Press [Enter] to bring up a

window showing the detailed information of the device, including the

device name, vendor, LBA mode PIO mode and more.

—

AMD PowerNow technology

This item allows you to enable or disable AMD PowerNow

technology. When set to Enabled, the system always operates in a

conserve power mode. If you want optimize the processor, set this

item to Disabled, so that the processor

’

s speed will vary depending

on the use of your operating system and applications. Default

setting is set to Enabled.
