6.2 Edge sensor Installation
The surface on which the edge sensor is mounted must be sound and reasonably flat.

6.2.2 Mounting guidelines
EDGE INSTALLATION PROCEDURE - Edge series configurations and single edge assemblies may be shipped
mostly assembled, in a crate. Some might be pre-drilled. Others need to be drilled on site, and attached to
equipment by the customer. The SIM should be mounted and electrically interfaced to the machine.
a. Remove all power to machine and SIM to prevent electric shocks.
b. Slide edges out of mounting channels (if applicable). See edge mounting channel options:
