Quick Start Guide

Power Input
– this connector is used
with the supplied power adapter to
charge the internal battery of the LIVE
MINI when it is not attached to its
charging base.
The LIVE MINI can be charged using
this power input connector, or
charged when it is connected
to the charging base (this is the
recommended method).
Use only the supplied power adapter.
Charging Base
The LIVE MINI is supplied with a
charging base. This base should be
placed on a dry and clean,
horizontal surface.
We recommend charging using the
charging base, because the power
connection can be left in place on the
charging base. This reduces the chance
of damage due to multiple connecting
and disconnecting of the power
connection directly to the LIVE MINI.

Power Connector
– these four spring
terminals make the power connection
to the bottom of the LIVE MINI when it
is connected to the charging base.
When fi tting the LIVE MINI to the
charging base, make sure this
connector lines up correctly to the
corresponding connector on the
bottom of the LIVE MINI.
Keep this connector clean and dry,
as well as the corresponding mating
connector on the bottom of the
LIVE MINI.

OVERVIEW
This Getting Started guide will help you
set up the LIVE MINI and briefl y introduce
its capabilities. The LIVE MINI contains 2
premium transducers and a unique bass
radiator design that allows for excellent
true stereo music reproduction wherever
you go. The Bluetooth connectivity and
3.5 mm auxilliary input allow a wide
variety of connection options.
POWER CONNECTIONS
Before using the LIVE MINI for the very
fi rst time, we recommend that you make
sure it is fully charged fi rst.
Use the supplied power adapter only,
and connect it either directly to the rear
power connector on the LIVE MINI, or the
charging base.
Make sure the charging base is placed on
a clean, dry, and fl at horizontal surface,
and that the LIVE MINI is correctly fi tted
into the base.
When charging the LIVE MINI, the Power
LED will show the charge status. When
the LIVE MINI is fully charged, the Power
LED will show a steady green.
Do not leave the LIVE MINI unattended
during charging.
Turn off the power to the supplied power
adapter when the LIVE MINI is charged.
Please note that the battery is not
user-replaceable. it can be replaced by an
authorised repair center.
Battery Notes
The LIVE MINI internal battery type is
Li-ion. To maximise the battery life,
we recommend that you do not run the
battery down to a very low charge. Keep
it out of the “battery low” charge range
(red POWER LED) as much as possible.
It is better to recharge the battery from
a medium charge (even if you have to
charge it more often).
There is no need to fully discharge the
battery at any time.
The playing time will vary depending
upon the volume and type of music
program. The louder the music, and the
more bass content, then the less battery
time is available.
Operation of the LIVE MINI at high
temperatures will also aff ect battery
life. Do not place the LIVE MINI near
to radiators, fi replaces, heaters, or
other sources of heat, such as power
amplifi ers. Do not place the LIVE MINI
in direct sunlight during high daytime
temperatures.
When the LIVE MINI is not going to be
used for a long time, such as storage,
make sure it is charged fi rst.
Unplug the external power adapter from
the AC Mains when the LIVE MINI is not in
its charging base.
