4. Measurements
To conduct a measurement:
- remove the protective cap from
the electrodes,
- place the leather sample on a flat
surface (table) made of a good
insulator
(e.g.
polyethylene,
Styrofoam, very dry wood),
- insert the electrodes into the
leather,
- press and hold the
„
ON
”
button,
- after 10
–
15 seconds read the
result.
When measuring loosely hanging
leathers hold the device by the sides.
Ensure proper contact of all 4
electrodes with the leather.
