Punch Handle
1. Plug the male connectors (power cord & foot pedal)
into the receptacle at the back of the machine then
connect the power cord into an electrical outlet.
3. Adjust depth margin from 2.5mm to 6.5mm. This
controls how far or how close you want the holes to
be in relation to the edge of the document.
4. Disengage pins that would punch off the edge of
the document by pulling them towards you.
TIP: Punch a few test sheets first in order to get
the proper alignment.
2. Adjust the ruler guide according to the size of your
document.
5. Grasp the punch handle with 1 or 2 hands and
pull down to punch holes on the document.
6. Manually insert the coil into the first 4 or 5 holes
as shown.
7. Press the coil inserting roller switch to the ON
position or use the foot pedal to spin the roller,
then grasp the document and gently press
against the coil against the roller.
TIP: You may
prolong the life of the roller by using the foot
pedal more frequently.
8. Use the handheld coil crimper pliers to crimp the
ends to keep the document from unbinding.
TIP: Periodically empty the waste bin to help ensure
uninterrupted use (see figure 9).

Use this guide to help determine the necessary coil diameter to be used based on sheet capacity. This may also be used
to select the correct depth margin setting by way of the depth margin control.
