1. WARNINGS
Before starting the pump, read this instruction booklet carefully.
For safety reasons, the pump must not be used by anyone who has not read these
instructions.
The appliance is not intendend for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsable for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they
do not play with the appliance.
The power cable must never be used for carrying or shifting the pump.
The pump must not be used to pump salt water or flammable, corrosive or
explosive liquids (e.g. petroleum oil, petrol, thinners), grease, oils or foodstuffs.
Do not start the electropump without having filled the pump body with water.
Protect the electropump against inclement weather.
For long periods of inactivity or frost, completely drain the pump body.
Self-ventilation must always be guaranteed.
The mains voltage must be the same as that shown on the motor plate.
Make a good earth connection.
In the event of repair or maintenance, always disconnect the electropump from
the power mains.
Single-phase motors are provided with overload protection: they are connected
directly to the power mains.
Three-phase motors (
Tallas N 100 T
) must be protected
with a suitable motor-protection device.
Connect to the mains by means of an omnipolar switch with a distance of at least
3 mm from the contacts.
Install a high-sensitivity differential switch (0.03A) as additional
protection.
2. APPLICATIONS
Self-priming centrifugal electropump with excellent suction capacity. Indicated for water
supplies, small agricultural use, domestic emergencies
