For a safe care of the TAKUMA
E-FOIL, follow the instructions
in the User Guide and watch

Post Ride
Never allow sand and/or water
to get in the connectors! It can
cause significant damage.
Rinse your e-foil.
Open the top cover of the
board and rinse carefully in
the slightest details with clear
water without disconnecting
the cables. Also rinse the
e-mast, the propeller, please
leave no detail aside.
Then, dry the inside of the
board with a dry towel until
there is no sign of water left.
Thoroughly dry the ESC, the
battery, the inside of the
protections of the connectors.
Unplug the connectors, make
sure there is no water or sand
inside.
Remove the battery, dry it
thoroughly and store it in a dry
place.
Once the protection of the
connectors are dry, screw them
back onto the connectors.
To remove your foil wing,
unscrew the fuselage screws
and put them back in their slots
to avoid losing them.
To remove the e-mast, unscrew
the screws diagonally and slide
the T nuts towards the exterior,
remove the foil gently, being
careful not to pull anything out.
Tighten the screws.
Regular Maintenance
TAKUMA E-FOIL needs to
be checked regularly and
maintained to ensure good
working order and to prevent
breakage. Check your EFoil
thoroughly after the first use
to make sure everything is ok
(screws, top cover etc.) and
then every 20h.
Apply TEF GEL on the screws
regularly.

TAKUMA authorized dealer for
assistance.
Storage
Never store your TAKUMA E-FOIL
wet. Only pack your E-Foil away
after it is completely dry.
Avoid contact with sharp
objects such as rocks, coral,
sticks and other debris.
Do not leave your TAKUMA
E-FOIL near shore break waves.
Shore break waves can cause
serious damage.
Do not leave your TAKUMA
E-FOIL in direct sunlight or
fluttering in the wind for long
periods of time when not in use.
