Introduction
Thank you for choosing Take Control Hobbies for your RC project! The Digi Switch is a simple but
powerful remote on/off switch. Capable of handling up to 20 volts at 20 amps, you can use for variety of
applications including powering lights on a large RC card or plane, as well as other options such as a
remote ignition for model rocketry. Your imagination if the only limit!
Installation
The Digi Switch has three 22 awg cables with standard universal connectors. There are two male
connectors and one female connector. The female connector connects to your battery source which can
be up to 20 volts input. The male connector with a short length of shrink tubing is the power output. The
other male connector connects to your receiver.
On the power output cable, the black wire is the negative and red is positive. The white wire is clipped
and is not used. You can use a female extension to connect to your powered accessory, or you can cut
off the male connector and wire directly.
To operate, program your receiver to control the channel on a switch or mix to another channel. When
the channel is below 1500us the switch will be off and above 1500us it will be on.
There is no need to connect a on/off switch between your battery and the power input of the digi
switch. The Digi Switch is a completely open circuit when there is no power coming from the receiver so
does not draw any power from your power source when the receiver is off.
