Remove dust from the power plug and repeat
plugging and unplugging from the outlet.

Try changing the outlet.

Bad jack connection

Remove dust from the INPUT jack 
and dedicated AC adapter plug.

Dimming knob is turned off

Battery unit is insufficiently charged

Turn the dimming knob clockwise.

Charge the battery unit.

Dedicated AC adapter failure

Contact the distributor.

Dimming knob is turned off

Dimming knob is positioned at #1

Battery unit is insufficiently charged

Turn the dimming knob clockwise.

Charge the battery unit.

adjust the brightness.
