Dual Control Heads
The TMAA11-13/15 (low temperature LCD) or TMAA11-17/18/19/20
upgrade kits (high temperature LCD) can be used to convert a TM9100
mobile radio (single radio body and graphical-display control head) to a
dual-head radio system (single radio body and two control heads). In a dual-
head radio system, elements of the user interface (such as display content,
internal speaker audio, and LEDs) are duplicated on both control heads. This
enables multiple users to share the same radio. The following diagram
summarizes how the components are installed. The items named or shown
in
bold
are part of the upgrade kit. Refer to the TM9155 Dual Head
Upgrade Kit Installation Instructions (402-00064-xx/402-00068-xx) for
full details.
