Turn the

MODE

selector to

pre

if you want to use your 60iRv as

a stand-alone preamplifier without the power amplifier. You may
want to do this if, for example, you have another, higher-quality,
power amplifier (such as our 100P).

In this mode, the power amplifier section of the 60iRv is fully
isolated and switched off. To listen to your sound sources, you
need to connect the preamplifier output of the 60iRv to one or
more external power amplifiers.

Turn the

MODE

selector to

pre-power av

(1)

if you want to use

the preamplifier and power amplifier sections of your 60iRv
separately. The internal connection between the preamplifier
and the power amplifier is opened. This mode is useful for
connecting external sound processors, such as surround sound
decoders or loudspeaker equalizers, between the preamplifier
and the power amplifier.
