Checking the Space and Positioning Requirements

requirements. The spacing requirements as described on

Removing the Cage Door

Remove the cage door and set it aside. For more information, see

page 6-24, Removing

the Door

Removing the Locking Bar

The locking bar for shipping reinforces the cage and prevents damage during
shipping. For more information, see

Figure 2-2

. After it is delivered to the customer it

may be discarded.
To remove the locking bracket:

Using a Phillips screwdriver, unfasten the screws (counter clockwise) that connect
the locking bar to the cage.

Remove and discard the locking bar.

If the cage is to be mounted onto a 19” rack, skip to
