Air Bleeding Procedure

2. Accelerator circuit
[NOTICE]
When bleeding, make sure that the machine is set
up horizontally.
1. Bleed the accelerator circuit by depressing the
accelerator pedal in the crane operator’s cab
repeatedly with the carrier engine stopped. (there
are three bleeding points.)
2. After bleeding, check that the oil level in the
reserve tank in the cab is between the marks
indicating the allowable lowest and highest levels.
3. After bleeding, depress the accelerator pedal
gradually and make sure that the engine functions
smoothly at all engine speeds from idling to
maximum speed. If not, repeat bleeding and
accelerator adjustment.

3. Slewing circuit
3.1 Slewing motor
[NOTICE]
Do not load the motor before bleeding.
Bleed the slewing motor by following either (1), (2) or (3).
(1) Pour the hydraulic oil through the drain port into
the casing until the oil flows out.
(2) Perform the right or left slewing operation slowly
for approx. one minute.
(3) Set the slewing brake switch to ON. Perform the
right or left slewing operation and keep the slewing
circuit hydraulic pressure at approx. 4.9MPa (50
kgf/cm
2
) (710 psi) for approx. 30 seconds.
