PREPARATIONS BEFORE 

USE

Charging the batteries

Do not insert objects aside from the safe-
ty plug and battery charger plug into the 
charging socket. – Risk of a short circuit!

To charge the batteries, first turn off the joy-
stick module and plug the charger into the 
joystick module’s charging socket (2), then 
plug the power cord into the wall socket.

Turning on the wheelchair

Do not touch or move the joystick during 
the start-up phase (lasts approx. one sec-
ond)!

Press the ON/OFF button (9) to turn on the 
joystick module. The electronics will now 
perform a system test.
Once 

the battery indicator

 lights up continu-

ously, the electronics are ready for use.

 

Flashing lights or a sequential series 
of lights in 

the battery indicator 

(17) or 

pre-set maximum speed indicator

 (19), 

respectively, indicate various error mes-
sages or information. – Follow the in-
structions in the chapter

If the 

pre-set maximum speed indicator

 

fails to light up when the wheelchair 
starts up, it means that the chair is in 
attendant control mode. – Follow the 
instructions in the chapter 

Attendant

When you have finished driving, turn off the 
joystick module by pressing the on/off but-
ton (9). This disables the electric wheelchair.
