Pairing Bluetooth
®
Devices
Before pairing, make sure that Bluetooth devices are turned on, discoverable, and
within close range. To pair:
1. Tap Start .
2. Tap Settings .
3. Tap Connections tab.
4. Tap Bluetooth .
5. Tap Devices tab.
6. Tap New Partnership . Your device searches for other devices with Bluetooth
capabilities and displays them.
7. Tap the name of the Bluetooth device that you want to pair.
8. Tap
Next .
9. At Passkey , type the passkey (between 1-16 characters) or leave it blank. The
use of the passkey enhances the security of your Bluetooth connection.
10. Tap Next .
11. Type the same passkey for the other device.
12. At
Name , type a name for the connection if you wish.
13. Tap Finish .
