Front panel controls
Mains On / Off switch. Pressing the mains button
switches the
CD-Player
on and off. The LED above the
button glows when the machine is switched on and ready
for use. Once switched on the CD player returns to the
state in which it was switched off. If the
CD-Player
is
connected to a pre-amplifier, integrated amplifier or
receiver as part of an
'R'
-system, then it can be switched
to stand-by mode by pressing the
button on the
remote control handset. In stand-by (ready) mode the
unit is not completely switched off.
Caution!
The mains button is not a mains isolation switch. Even
when the LED is not glowing parts of the machine remain
connected to the mains power supply (Standby mode).
The stand-by current drain is stated in the chapter
entitled 'Specification'.
If the unit is not to be used for a long period we
recommend that you isolate it from the mains by pulling
out the mains plug at the wall socket.
If the machine is switched off using the mains switch the
energy consumption is 0 Watt. When switched off in this
way, the unit cannot be switched on again using the
remote control handset. If you wish to switch the unit on,
first move the mains switch to the '1' position.

Press the
button to open and close the drawer.
If the drawer is open it will also close automatically when
you press the

This button opens and closes the CD drawer.
This button starts playback of a CD, or continues
playback after a
PAUSE
.
This button interrupts playback, i.e. the currently running
track stops playing. Playback is resumed when you press
the
or
button a second time.
Pressing the
button ends the playback process.
Pressing the
button switches the unit into four
different playback modes in turn. Each is displayed on
the screen briefly when selected:
RPT TRACK
RPT ALL
RPT OFF
Mix mode is switched on and off with a long press on the
button. After this, a brief press toggles between
Mix and Repeat Mix:
