Remote control (optional)
Introduction
In general terms the function of the buttons on the remote control handset is the
same as the corresponding buttons on the machine’s front panel.
The following table shows the remote control buttons and their function when
operating the machine.
If a
MP 1000 E
is present in your system, the
PA 1000 E
can be controlled using
the
FM1000
remote control of the
MP 1000 E
via the
E2
LINK
control interface.
In this case the optionally available FM2000 is not needed!
Except the source selection, the functions of the buttons described below are
the same for the
FM1000
.
With the
FM1000
the desired listening source at the
PA 1000 E
can be selected
by pressing the
button. If necessary press the button repeatedly until
the desired listening source is selected.

The LED`s above the source buttons on the front panel
indicate which input is currently selected for listening.
Decrease / increase the volume level
A brief press performs a small volume step first to enable a fine
and precise volume control. It automatically switches to a
continuous rotation of the volume control if the remote control
button is pressed for a longer time.
