This menu displays the number of Data
Block Errors in the last 10 seconds,
(sampled at 100ms intervals), when the
ISDN Backup has successfully been
established. The menu also displays the
Restore Time in seconds of error free data
throughput, after which the automatic
X.21 Restore is initiated. The Restore Time
setting and the Errors display are only
relevant when the codec is operating in
the Backup Master mode.
The
button can be used to edit the
Restore Time , the display changes as
follows:

This menu is used to enable reserve
dialing. When enabled, reserve dialing will
allow the codec to automatically dial an
secondary location in the event of a total
primary location failure. The ISDN dialling
details for the secondary site are obtained
from the adjacent patch to that already
selected (i.e. patch+1). This function is
only active when a codec is configured for
backup Master mode.
Audio Options
The
button is used to enter the next
level of the menu system, which allows
the user to select the available audio
options.

Audio Mixing
The C450xr codec can be configured to
digitally monoise the selected audio
source, by mixing the Left and Right
signals with a 6dB pad. The monoised
signal is replicated to both Analog and
Digital (AES/EBU) Left and Right output
channels.
