Should the direction of rotation be incorrect, the connection to the motor poles have to be
changed.

After initial operation and function test it is important to verify the following:

Free rotation of the fan impeller, absorbed power in all speeds, eventual vibrations or
excessive noise.

Fill in attached report and store it.

6.0  ACCEPTANCE

It is very important to verify that the system, including the control system, is
working correctly, and that all requirements of the project and valid
regulations are being fulfilled.
The ACCEPTANCE of the system has to be documented and the documents
have to be stored.

7.0  MAINTENANCE AND CONTROL

Unintended start up of the fan during mounting, control, maintenance or
repair has to be prevented!

Annual inspections:
1. Verify that the screw between fan impeller and hub is fixed tightly and if necessary re-fix.
2. Verify that the screw between motor shaft and hub is fixed tightly and if necessary re-fix.
3. Verify if the fan impeller is dirty and if necessary clean it
4. Verify the function of all parts relevant for safety
5. Verify the function of the control system
6. Measure the resistance in the windings
7. Measure the operating current
8. Check for eventual vibrations
9. Check if there is excessive noise in the motor bearings

The functioning and controls (all poles) of the system have to be inspected every 3 months,
in accordance with maintenance report booklet, should there be no other interval
requirement.

The fan has to stand still when points 1 to 4 are being inspected.

The parameters of points 5 to 9 may not deviate from the data measured on initial operation
and after acceptance. Should one of those parameters deviate, either motor or fan impeller
have to be replaced or repaired. This work may only be carried out by service personnel
authorized by the manufacturer. Non-compliance turns the manufacturers warranty invalid.
The motor has to be serviced in accordance with the attached instructions of the motor
manufacturer.
