dry contact closure devices, in-
cluding mechanical heat detec-
tors, manual pull stations and 
waterflow switches. Such mix-
ing can cause a direct short on 
the auxiliary power terminals, 
damaging the control panel’s 
internal circuitry and/or dam-
aging devices connected to the 
initiating device circuit.
